Profile
I started working in the construction industry over 20 years ago as a commercial driver, from there I directed
my career to the explosives industry. I have been employed in many different fields from bridge demolition,
industrial blasting, sewer and water main, road work, building excavation, quarry and open pit mining.
I have held different job positions, such as driller, blaster, labour, equipment operator, foreman and .....

Health and Safety Representative for several companies.

I have been concerned with many safety regulation such as:
Occupational Health and Safety Act,
Workplace Hazardous Material Information System ,
Construction Regulations, the Explosives Regulations, Transportation of Dangerous Goods
to name a few.

In the last few years enforcement of regulations has increased and more regulations have been put in force.
Trend being that larger companies are in a better position to provide employee training, but in times of economic restraint,
training is the first place that undergoes cuts. Worst is that if you are in a small to medium company the cost of training per employee is higher, there is not enough demand to warrant the full time employment of someone to do emloyee training. This is where I can help.

I started with the WHMIS Train the Trainer program from the Construction Safety Association of Ontario.
After conversing with others in the safety training industry and employers, I knew that there is a need to be filled and
D.A.L. Enterprise is interested in filling this demand.

D.A.L. Enterprise is in a position to provide many of the safety courses
required in the construction industry, surface mines and quarries.
As well as developing customer specific courses, a list of available courses is included.
I am also in the process of developing the Specialty Modules for the Surface Mining Program.

Training is presently the main service of my Company, but as a Certified Health and Safety Representative
D.A.L. Enterprise
, offer consulting services such as reviewing or developing a Company's health and safety policies,
W.H.M.I.S.
compliance, emergency response plans or site inspections.

I would like to conclude by extending my services to you and your Company.
As the famous saying goes *People perish for lack of knowledge Hosea 4:6*
Be aware that knowledge is power and a well informed employee on safety procedures
and new regulation, makes for a better and safer work environment.
