Training and Certification Course
This is a course which is now mandated according to government
regulationsfor workers
who erect, alter, move, or work on scaffolds of any type.
This 4 or 8 hour course -
Your course topics may be selected from the following list.
Note that the Items in red are required by government regulations
· Load Capacities of Scaffolds
· Proper Erection/ Dismantling Methods
· Proper Use of the Scaffold
· Nature of and Protection from Fall Hazards
· Nature of and Protection from Falling Object Hazards
· Nature of and Protection from Electrical Hazards
· Analysis of Fall Protection for Erection/ Dismantling
· Analysis of Safe Access for Erection/ Dismantling
· Tubular Welded Scaffold
· System Scaffold
· Tube/ Coupler Scaffold
· Rolling Scaffold
· Scissors Lift
· Aerial Lift
· Ladderjack/ Pumpjack Scaffold
· Suspension/ Swing Stage Scaffold
· Other Scaffold (as required by contractor)
Workers who complete the course are issued completion cards from D.A.L.
Enterprise
- your proof of compliance with D.A.L. Enterprise is a mandate for worker
safety training.
There is no mandate on re-training at any specific time intervals, however
retraining will have to take place if new types of scaffolds are
introduced, changes occur for which the worker(s) are unfamiliar with, or
if retraining is indicated by the worker(s) actions.
